CD Players

Stibbert Tube

The 2009 edition is the newest CD Player of the new dedicated brand Goldenote. It is still to be the only CD Player on

the market made with a double chassis completely isolated through 4 conical springs. The main plinth of the Stibbert Tube chassis is made of a 20mm thick black acrylic shaped like the Ferrari Formula 1© steering wheel, as best analogue turntables. Such a special curved shape enormously increases the structural rigidity of the design, virtually eliminating any vibration feedback. The transport mechanism is of the drawer type and is designed to achieve the best disc rotation stability featuring the latest Goldenote digital technology using the new proprietary Natural-Speed™ enable the transport

to reduce the voltage and the speed at the minimum possible in order to achieve the best sonic performance.

The output filter Zero-Clock™ and the voltage power supply system Electro-Power™ are in fact the consolidated proprietary well know devices .

The Zero-Clock™ enable the highest performance killing the Jitter and the Clock error but also having a very sophisticated output digital filter.

The Electro-Power™ voltage power supply system offers an innovative current generator clean up the signal going to the analog stage for superior sonic performance. Electro-Power™ guarantees to control the pick-up laser and mechanic

motors for a perfect disc rotation stability, getting a total speed fluctuation lower than an outstanding 0.0001%.

The higher standard self-adjusting properties of the Electro-Power™ enables to keep absolutely stable all micro and macro voltages to keep a precise super smooth voltage in all electrical local digital and analog audio signal paths.

The Electro-Power™ also galvanically shields the CD Player to guarantee the best sound performance available.

The Stibbert Tube chassis is made of a high density steel alloy treated with a diamagnetic black polyvinyl paint. The mass of the chassis is three times higher than previous versions enabling higher bass resolution. The new chassis design allows an easy tube changing and better controlled grounding path.

The Stibbert Tube features a sophisticated tube analog output stage based on two 6922 tubes. Such new output stage is a true balanced tube design no-matching any transistor or j-fet in order to get the highest sonic performance. The use of the superior class components such as high quality capacitors and resistors redefine new standards in the digital players world market.

The new Stibbert also features an extra large two line LCD display to be read from long distance too.
