Ducale

The DUCALE is our flagship bookshelf loudspeaker. The DUCALE is a 2-way design, suitable for stand or shelf mounting, with a 6,5-inch treated polymer bass/midrange unit complementing a pure 1-inch inverted dome ceramic tweeter.

The Bass/Mid driver made under exacting our specifications, is a special treated polymeric unit, specifically designed for this speaker. Due to its special characteristics and the material used the DUCALE Bass/Mid driver has an exceptionally fast transient response, enhancing its ability to reproduce music naturally and accurately.
The tweeter is a pure ceramic inverted dome that reproduces high frequencies cleanly, even at high levels. As a result of its advanced mechanical and technical characteristics, this tweeter is a very fine match to the bass/mid driver.
The finely crafted cabinet is made from a solid 90mm (3.5inch) MDF back box panel and a luxury veneered front box with real wood inlays on the sides and top.

The DUCALE is supplied with the proprietary Speaker-Resonator™ system.

The Speaker-Resonator™ is designed with an internal damping material made of pure wool and different thickness layers of lead to help the DUCALE cabinet to behave like a “violin” resonator allowing it to ‘breathe’ the sound through the speakers.

The 2 front bass reflex ports are specifically tuned with the cabinet. This combined with the matched crossover network, enables perfect phase integration between the drivers, producing a coherent, uncompressed and natural sound.
The hand built crossovers utilises only the finest parts available, including custom made MFCap, polypropylene capacitors and air wound coils, thus ensuring the highest level of transparency and image focus.
The DUCALE has deep bass, high power handling, luminous high frequencies and produces a huge three dimensional sound stage making it ideal for use by audiophiles and music lovers.

The DUCALE are hand selected and critically matched to guarantee the highest standard of performance available.
